Formed in 2012, Tidalwave Road’s journey has been defined by evolution, resilience, and hard-earned momentum. The band’s current powerhouse lineup features Ben Parker on banjo, Daniel Parker on bass, Robert Sulfridge on guitar, and new addition mandolin standout Larry Norfleet, whose arrival marks a bold new chapter for the band. Stepping into the role previously held by Carlie Parker, Norfleet brings a commanding presence, decades of on stage experience, and a deep-rooted authenticity that elevates the band’s musical intensity to new heights.

Their trajectory shifted into overdrive after capturing top honors at the 2023 SamJam Festival Band Competition, an achievement that first catapulted them into the national spotlight. The win led to their debut professional recording project at Bonfire Recording Studio in South Carolina, under the guidance of acclaimed producer and musician Steve Wilson. The resulting Bonfire Sessions introduced Tidalwave Road to a global audience and laid the groundwork for what would come next.

Signed to Pinecastle Records and represented by Wilson Pickins Promotions, the band has fully stepped into their moment. Their highly anticipated full-length album, Skin and Bone, released October 24, 2025, has proven to be a defining statement—earning widespread critical acclaim for its originality, intensity, and modern edge.
